Featured Release - Disney's Moana Jr.

We are grateful to produce Moana Jr. under the guidance of Cultural Advisor Dr. Tina Fraser.

Dr. Tina Fraser, Cultural Advisor

Dr. Fraser is a Māori scholar from Aotearoa (New Zealand) teaching at the University of Northern British Columbia. Her tribal affiliations are Ngati Haka/Patuheuheu, Ngati Koura, and Ngati Pani from the Tuhoe Nation. The other affiliation is Ngati Ranginui. Dr. Fraser is a full Professor in the School of Education. She is the first female and Indigenous Chair for the School of Education, an Adjunct Professor in the School of Nursing and Adjunct into the Department of First Nations Studies.

This is the story behind the story: a path of learning, humility, and connection as we prepare to bring Moana Jr. to our stage with care and respect.
